But then I started thinking...I have colored skins and cases for my phones, ipods, kindle... so why not this? Black is so NOT my color!I purchased the Raspberry Fusion. It is a brighter/richer color than the photos show. It is beautiful! As for switching the back, it was a bit of a struggle. It doesn't pop off as easily as implied. I found that by using a dime in the speaker slots, I was able to finally pry the back off but just be warned, it does make a very disconcerting snap when it finally releases. Just take your time and slowly work your way around. Snapping the new cover in place was a breeze. If you want to personalize your Thrive, this is your option since a skin can't be applied to the ridged back.
