I knew I wanted LED for the power savings alone (and the arguably better blacks/contrast) and LG has been a good brand to me over the years. When I found this monitor for less than one hundred dollars, I jumped on it! SOME QUICK SPECS: 22" Display (21.5" viewable) LED Backlighting 1920x1080P Resolution @ 60hz (16:9 ratio) Standard VESA Mount 5,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio (marketing hype) 5ms Response Time BUILD QUALITY It is as good as any sub-0 monitor - the stand is quite wobbly but honestly I haven't found a cheap monitor with a good stand yet! Part of the problem is that everything is plastic, so there is no real weight to it. Apart from that, I am not terribly displeased. *UPDATE* - the wobbling finally became enough to annoy me, so I put two of these monitors on a VESA Dual Monitor Stand and it is much more manageable. Also, out of the box this monitor ONLY tilts around 20
