The ConfigureGate 3-Piece Set allows you to configure the gate yourself, to fit odd-shaped rooms and non-standard doorways. The three 24-inch interlocking pieces easily adjust in 10-degree increments to fit most any space. The walk-through gate swings in either direction and features a convenient one-hand release. Constructed of sturdy tubular steel with a white non-toxic coating. Measures 29.5 inches high.This large, custom-designed gate lets babies and toddlers roam free in a large section of the home, while still protecting them from dangerous or unsupervised areas. The set comes with three interlocking sections, each one measuring 29 inches high and 24 inches long. The idea is to lock the sections together in a bendable configuration that fits an area of your home (additional sections are available). In order for the gate to be secure, it must be attached to wall-mount fixtures (included). Be prepared for about a half-hour of setup time. Keep in mind that this is not a gate

I was worried that the length would make it insecure, but it doesn't: Just be sure not to have the fence completely straight; use the nifty connection corners to alternate turns, using either angles back and forth or a serpentine pattern. Then hang stuff like toys, instruments, and mobiles from it. We were looking for a gate to go around our fireplace as soon as our son started to crawl. We researched numerous gates and found this one to be the best. It is fairly easy to install and is very sturdy. It is very easy to open the gate. We had to buy the 24 inch extension to add to the gate and this was easy to install as well. What I really liked about this was the fact the mounting for the gate is set up a little higher on the wall. This makes is much easier to install as you dont have to worry about the baseboards. Of all the gates I have tried over the years, this is the one to get. Easy to set up, easy to move and sturdy as well. This is a well made, well thought out product and it's about time. Order additional mounts and you can move this gate to several areas within a few minutes and feel secure. Besides all that it is attractive and will fit any decor. Plus replacement parts as well as the additional mounts are available from the mfg. as well, so if you need to add or replace there is support behind you. |
