This TV was what I wanted. But after a few days of use the remote control failed to turn the TV on or off or change channels. The same remote control worked well on a samsong TV. So I isolated the problem to be a failure of the remote sensor pick up in the TV. Checking the internet I found that at least two other people had the same problem. The way it is I had a TV which was of no use to me. So I will return it to Amazon com for a replacement. At this point in time I do not recommend this product to any one.

this was on back order since Feb and finally arrived in May. It was exactly what I wanted, I was so excited. it fit where I wanted, looked fantastic, easy to set up, did have trouble with the base, but that could be my ineptitude. HOWEVER, LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER, THE REMOTE DIED. DON'T ASK ABOUT CHANGING BATTERIES PLEASE. After checking on line I discovered this is a common problem and there is a very short warranty. So, after thinking it over, I returned it. Amazon is great regarding refunds. Now I am once again on the search for a white tv. Why are they so scarce?
