I am using this to spotlight our American flag at night. I didn't expect too much coming in at 4 watts, but, it's better than the 150 watt that I previously used. I was amazed at the light power. It easily reaches my 25 foot flag pole and is better than any 65 watt bulb I've ever seen. Highly recommend. So far over the last few months (wicked cold ones at that) it seems to be doing just fine. I run it on a dimmer and that hasn't shortened its life at all. The light is very white, noticeably different when paired up to a standard flood light which glows on the yellow side. And no worried about brightness - works well. I'm sold - will buy more to replace other bulbs. This review is from: 65w Equivalent Bulb (Tools & Home Improvement) I purchased these lightbulbs to use in the sofits of our house outside. We are constantly replacing the regular flood lights and I am hoping these may last longer. Plus, I am looking for ways to reduce the amount of energy we use and still be able to light up the outside. This shipment came well packaged and in good condition. The shipping arrived a little past the "to be expected" date however, it wasn't a huge concern as these were not gifts. When I emailed the company to ask about the shipment they replied immediately.
